Indian military jet fighter to get upgrade from Thales and Dassault Aviation

PARIS, 29 July 2011. Officials at Thales and Dassault Aviation announced that they will be upgrading the Mirage 2000 fleet for the Indian air force. The agreement will be to provide new avionics and other aircraft systems to enhance the aircraft capabilities.

Dassault Aviation manufactures the fourth generation Indian jet fighter.Indian industry will also be involved with the program strengthening their ties with the French aerospace industry, Thales officials say.
