Noblis team to provide engineering, program management, information systems development in support of FAA’s NextGen airspace transformation

ARLINGTON, Va., 26 Oct. 2011. Noblis in Falls Church, Va., together with industry team members, won a seven-year, roughly $350 million Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Communications Support Services (ECSS) contract. The Noblis-led team will provide technology management support—including systems engineering, acquisition and program management, information systems development, and management studies and analysis—to the FAA's Air Traffic Control (ATC) Communications Services organization. Flatirons Solutions Corp. staff in Boulder, Colo., will provide System-Wide Information Management (SWIM), Enterprise Architecture (EA), and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) support.

ECSS supports the transformation of the National Airspace System (NAS) to the Next Generation (NextGen) Air Transportation System.
