BAE Systems officials are promoting the Hawk AJTS as a replacement for the aging T-38 trainer as part of the U.S. Air Force’s T-X program. The commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) system is tailored to meet the needs of the U.S. Air Force and will be manufactured in the United States with the involvement of a strong U.S. supply chain. BAE Systems and Northrop Grumman have partnered to compete in the USAF T-X program.

“We are proud to be able to demonstrate the sophisticated and integrated capabilities of the Hawk AJTS at the home of the U.S. Air Force’s Air Education and Training Command,” says Robert Wood, vice president and lead for the BAE Systems Inc. Hawk Advanced Jet Training System Program. “This Road Show and the Hawk AJT flight display at Randolph Air Force Base offer a unique opportunity for our team to highlight the aircraft’s in-flight and ground-based training systems while showcasing how it can deliver off-the-shelf capabilities today.”

The Hawk AJTS National Road Show demonstration trailer showcases video, simulations, and interactive exhibits, including a cockpit simulator, illustrating the features of the Hawk AJTS. It will be on display at air shows, trade shows, and conferences across the country.

The Hawk AJTS National Road Show includes:
The Hawk Advanced Jet Training System Interactive Touchscreen Display
