Cassidian receives framework contract for maintenance and support of Spanish Air Force C130 Hercules fleet

UNTERSCHLEISSHEIM, GERMANY, Nov. 12, 2011. The framework contract for maintenance and support of the Spanish Air Force’s twelve C130 HERCULES planes was recently awarded to Cassidian Spain through an international open tender procedure.

UNTERSCHLEISSHEIM, GERMANY, Nov. 12, 2011. The framework contract for maintenance and support of the Spanish Air Force’s twelve C130 HERCULES planes was recently awarded to Cassidian Spain through an international open tender procedure.

The contract runs until 2015 and includes maintenance of the fleet which is beyond the capacities of the Air Force repair depots. The work will be carried out at Cassidian’s facilities in Getafe, Technical assistance will be provided at the Zaragoza air base and the depot facilities in Seville. The contract also includes purchasing of spare parts, and modifications of the aircraft.
