SEATTLE, 17 Nov., 2011. Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Singapore Airlines announced an order for eight additional 777-300 Extended Range (ER) airplanes. The orders were previously recorded on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries website, attributed to an unidentified customer.
The Singapore Airlines order is valued at $2.4 billion at Boeing current list prices. The order was first announced on August 10.
In total, Singapore Airlines has ordered 85 Boeing 777s, 27 of which are 777-300ERs.
