DUNEDIN, Fla., 10 Dec. 2011. STACK International, a consortium of defense and aerospace businesses, has certified e2v’s high-reliability (hi-rel) semiconductor products and services from e2v, a provider of technology solutions for high-performance systems in Chelmsford, U.K., to STACK Specification S/0001.
STACK certification followed an extensive independent audit by member companies. STACK certification adds to e2v’s existing ISO 9001, AS 9100, and ESCC (European Space Components Coordination) standards for European Space Agency (ESA) projects and QML Certifications for compliance with the U.S. Department of Defense MIL-PRF-38535 performance specification.
“Our comprehensive suite of quality processes and certifications is key to our proactive strategy, under our SliM program, of ensuring the long-term supply of semiconductor products and services to the global aerospace and defense industry,” says Laurent Monge, head of engineering for e2v’s high-reliability semiconductor solutions.
