Boeing delivers two 777-300ERs to Saudi Arabian Airlines, receives order for more

EVERETT, Wash., Jan. 24, 2012. Boeing (NYSE: BA) reached a m
ajor milestone with Saudi Arabian Airlines when it delivered the airline's first two 777-300ERs (extended range). At the delivery ceremony, Saudi Arabian Airlines also announced an order for eight 777-300ERs valued at $2.4 billion at current list prices. The 777-300ER is an extended-range aircraft that carries passengers up to 7,930 nautical miles (14,685 km), allowing for most distant non-stop routes.
