Copa Airlines receives new Boeing 737-800 from GE Capital Aviation Services

SAO PAULO, Brazil, 20 March 2012. GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Panama’s Copa Airlines to expand its fleet.

SAO PAULO, Brazil, 20 March 2012. GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing unit of GE, announced delivery of a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Panama’s Copa Airlines to expand its fleet. The aircraft comes from GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing.

The Boeing 737-800 is a twin-engine, single-aisle aircraft that can carry up to 189 passengers and is the second longest aircraft in the 737 family.

Copa currently operates a fleet of 73 aircraft to more than 70 destinations in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
