BLAGNAC, France, 31 March 2012.Airbus announced that it has won its first corporate jet sale in Japan, details of the sale have not yet been released.

The aircraft that was selected was an Airbus ACJ319, which features the widest and tallest cabin of any corporate jet.

Corporate jets are widespread in many of the world's economies, but are still disproportionately few in some of the largest, such as Japan, where the opening of the first dedicated business terminal in Tokyo, Premier Gate Narita, may pave the way for more.

Airbus has received 170 orders since it delivered its first corporate jet in the mid-Eighties, and are featured on every continent, including Antarctica.
