SGT wins NASA Goddard Space Flight Center OMES contract

GREENBELT, Md., 7 June 2012. SGT Inc. won the Omnibus Multidiscipline Engineering Services (OMES) contract supporting the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

GREENBELT, Md., 7 June 2012. SGT Inc. won the Omnibus Multidiscipline Engineering Services (OMES) contract supporting the Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate (AETD) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

The OMES cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a maximum ordering value of $400 million and spans through 31 May 2017.

SGT will provide services for the development and validation of new technologies for future Earth and space science missions. It includes the study, design, systems engineering, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification, and operations of space flight, airborne, and ground system hardware and software.

NASA Goddard AETD provides multidiscipline engineering expertise for in-house and out-of-house instrument and spacecraft programs, including the Joint Polar Satellite System Program and the Space Servicing Capabilities Project.
