Quantum Control to manage Flight Director global aviation after market supply chain

SAN DIEGO, 19 Oct. 2012. Officials at Flight Director Inc. (FDI), a global aviation supply chain company, have selected Component Control’s Quantum Control MRO and logistics software to manage supply chain parts and service needs for its military, commercial, and engine divisions.

SAN DIEGO, 19 Oct. 2012. Officials at Flight Director Inc. (FDI), a global aviation supply chain company, have selected Component Control’s Quantum ControlMRO and logistics software to manage supply chain parts and service needs for its military, commercial, and engine divisions.

FDI maintains a $30 million inventory in its Austin, Texas, facility and delivers more than $45 million in new and recertifiedaircraft equipment to flight operators, airlines, and military bases annually.

The Quantum Control, developed specifically for MRO and logistics organizations, is an integrated business software solution running on one scalable and secure Oracle database and including a range of logistics and business modules. It can be deployed as a dedicated in-house system or be hosted via a third-party cloud.
