DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 30 Oct. 2012. Dubai Helicopter Show 2012, an international civil and military helicopter technology and operations exhibition, will host helicopter industry professionals in military, homeland security, civil defense, and air medical and rescue.
The Dubai Helishow 2012 will be held 6-8 Nov. 2012 at the Grand Stand, Meydan, Dubai-U.A.E. under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and with the support of Department of Civil Aviation-Dubai.
Ministry of Defense U.A.E, Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing, and Dubai Police Air Wing will demonstrate latest plans and programs at the show. The three-day-event will include daily conferences, workshops, and networking sessions on emerging challenges and needs.
PHI Air Medical, Gulf Helicopters, FLIR Systems, HR Smith Group, International Vertical Access Network (I.V.A.N), and Mark Mennie & MFI from the medical and rescue sector will promote the latest medical helicopter additions, aircraft medical equipment, thermal imaging systems, and search-and-rescue products (SAR). Exhibitors specialized in this sector are looking to expand their presence in Middle Eastern countries and to work with various governmental, semi-governmental authorities, and/or commercial and private organizations, says a spokesperson.
Industry insiders will focus on presenting air medical operations and maintenance programs, pilot training programs, helicopter transportation management protocols, and aircraft technological advancements especially when applied to emergency aviation services for the purpose of saving lives.

International Helicopter Technology & Operations Exhibition, popularly known as the Dubai Helishow is a biennial exhibition which is celebrated as the only one of its kind for the helicopter industry in the entire Middle East region.
