Raytheon wins Airborne Low Frequency Sonar contract

TEWKSBURY, Mass., 27 Dec. 2012. Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN) won a $158.5 million firm-fixed-price contract from Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Md., for 48 MH-60R Full Rate Production Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) systems, as well as associated program management support.

The Department of Defense contract was announced on 20 Dec. 2012, and awarded in Raytheon's fourth quarter.
