Safety officials investigate 787 battery maker

WASHINGTON, 22 Jan. 2013. Aircraft safety officials in the U.S. and Japan are investigating GS Yuasa Corp. in Koyoto, Japan. GS Yuasa manufactures batteries for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
WASHINGTON, 22 Jan. 2013. Aircraft safety officials in the U.S. and Japan are investigating GS Yuasa Corp. in Koyoto, Japan. GS Yuasa manufactures batteries for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Engineers and executives at GS Yuasa Corp. are said to be cooperating with the investigation by officials from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the U.S. and the Civil Aviation Bureau in Japan.
