Jet Aviation opens new FBO in Berlin for Schonefeld and Tegel international airports

DUSSELDORF, Germany, 26 Jan. 2013. Jet Aviation has opened a new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) facility at Berlin Schönefeld to provide handling services at Schönefeld and Tegel International airports. The facility includes an operations office, a crew lounge and a VIP passenger lounge.

The company signed an agreement with Acciona Airport Services to support Jet Aviation with ground services and equipment at both airports. Philipp Walter has joined Jet Aviation from Acciona's Berlin operations and will manage the new Berlin FBO operation. The new Berlin FBO is under the direction of Kusserow, who also oversees the company's FBO in Dusseldorf.

Jet Aviation's fixed base operations worldwide now include Zurich and Geneva, Switzerland; Dusseldorf and Berlin, Germany; Jeddah, Riyadh and Medina, Saudi Arabia; Dubai, U.A.E; Singapore; and in the U.S., Boston/Bedford, Mass.; Dallas and Houston, Texas; Palm Beach, Fla.; St. Louis, Mo.; and Teterboro, N.J.
