MUNICH, 21 Feb. 2013. Aitech is presenting its C660 high-performance 6U Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch and P228 power supply for embedded and harsh-environment applications during Avionics Europe.

The C660, with up to 40 GbE ports, is based on Marvell’s Bobcat Gigabit Ethernet Switch Controller and MTS Management Suite. The simplified Web user interface is an intuitive management tool, enabling convenient use of the switch’s feature set for a better-optimized network.

Designed for harsh environments, the new Aitech P228 power supply is 85 percent efficient and outputs four common voltages for VME, VPX, and CompactPCI systems, with a total combined output capacity of 500 watts. Holdup time is 50 milliseconds, allowing the system to take all necessary emergency actions before shutting down.
