MUNICH, 22 Feb. 2012. The team behind PennWell’s Aerospace & Defense Media Group is excited to launch the Avionics International conference and exhibition. The 2014 event will be held 18 and 19 March 2014 in Abu Dhabi.

MUNICH, 22 Feb. 2012. The team behind PennWell’s Aerospace & Defense Media Group is excited to launch the Avionics International conference and exhibition. The 2014 event will be held 18 and 19 March 2014 in Abu Dhabi.

“By convening the Avionics International event in Abu Dhabi on 18–19 March 2014, we will place our conference delegates and our exhibitors at the crossroads of the world, and expand the scope of our dialogue, adding much greater representation from the Middle East and Asia,” explains Ernesto Burden, event director.

Avionics International 2014 will be located at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) – a venue that will provide the facilities Avionics International will require in 2014 to take a next great leap forward as it brings together a who’s who of global avionics leaders and showcases the most innovative technologies from around the world.

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is the diverse, highly modern economic hub of the region as well as a top-notch tourist destination reputed for its rich culture, sandy beaches, mountains and beautiful deserts.

Abu Dhabi also boasts a rapidly growing aerospace industry, which is a key element of the emirate’s diversification and growth plans. In fact, aviation business constitutes nearly 15 percent of the UAE’s economy.
