SHREVEPORT, La., 5 March 2013. Metro Aviation Inc. and PAC International, its wholly owned subsidiary and a provider of helicopter technical services, announced plans to enter the helicopter customization market in Brazil with the signing of a marketing partnership with Sierra Aeronautica of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Sierra Aeronautica, through CEO Marcos Braga, will provide marketing and sales leadership for customization of helicopters entering Brazil.

"The Brazilian helicopter market continues to outstrip sales of most countries in the world,” says Mike Stanberry, Metro's CEO. Metro expects to develop a leadership role in the bourgeoning EMS operations of Brazil, while our subsidiary, PAC International, will serve the ever-present VIP transport segment. In fact, we have signed our first VIP completion project, an Agusta A109 for VIP transport that will be delivered to Brazil by mid-2013."

"To actively support the Brazilian market and assure quick delivery into Brazil, both Metro Aviation and PAC International have completed applications and undergone onsite audits by Agencia Nacional de Aviacao Civil (ANAC), the Brasilian civil aviation authority,” says Milton Geltz, managing director for Metro Aviation Inc. “Metro has already received its ANAC Part 145 certificate."
