KANSAS CITY, Mo., 7 April 2013. Officials at Tocumen International Airport (TIA) in the Republic of Panama needed an operations and information systems to support the facility’s expansion and modernization. They found their solution, a suite of Airport Operations and Information Systems, at Ultra Electronics Airport Systems in Kansas City, Mo.
The systems integration project complements the expansion and modernization work underway at TIA to improve safety of air operations and quality of service, as well as to position Panama for new business opportunities.
Ultra and TIA will jointly integrate and commission a variety of systems, including Flight Information Display and Resource Management Systems, Airport Operational Database, and an Aeronautical Billing System.
