SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., 10 April 2013. Digital Systems Engineering (DSE) is introducing its new High Definition Rugged Monitors (HDRM) designed for demanding fixed-wing and helicopter applications. Interoperable with modern FLIR sensors and video surveillance systems, the HDRM provides up to 1080p60 HD imagery via flexible video inputs (3G/HD/SD-SDI, DVI-I/RGB, HDMI, RS170).

Operators can select independent live video feeds to view simultaneously on the display screen with a toggle multiview function (PIP, POP). The HDRM offers standard features such as a user-defined programmable button interface to control peripheral equipment and to switch between active video feeds. An optional rugged touch screen is available. The LED backlit HDRM is sunlight-readable and NVG-compliant (MIL-STD-3009 Class B), providing full-color, high-brightness imagery under any ambient light condition.

Designed to meet key military standards, the HDRM monitor offers weather-resistant, IP67 sealed aluminum enclosures, military connectors, and tactile bezel buttons. The ultra-thin profile HDRM monitor presents a small footprint design for space-constrained spaces.

Standard features include:
