Boeing selects Mechtronix 737NG FFS X for 737 flight simulator

ST-LAURENT, Québec, 13 April 2013. Officials at The Boeing Company have selected Mechtronix in Quebec, Canada, to build and install a new Boeing 737NG full flight simulator (FFS) level D.

ST-LAURENT, Québec, 13 April 2013. Officials at The Boeing Company have selected Mechtronix in Quebec, Canada, to build and install a new Boeing 737NG full flight simulator (FFS) level D.

This Mechtronix FFS X will simulate Boeing 737-800W, 737-800 WSFP, 737-800 BBJ, and 737-700W configurations and will be ready for training in the second quarter of 2014.

“We are very pleased that Boeing selected the Mechtronix FFS X for its full flight simulator training requirements,” says George Karam, vice president at Mechtronix. “The FFS X combines the highest reliability standards with the most cost-efficient operations and maintenance requirements in the industry.”
