PARIS, 18 June 2013. ATK (NYSE:ATK) is highlighting its growing capabilities in several business areas, including commercial and military aerospace structures manufacturing and in the satellite and launch vehicle markets, with products for the Airbus A350 and A400M aircraft, Rolls-Royce TrentXWB 84K and 97K engines, the Vivisat satellite life extension program, and multiple launch vehicle programs.
ATK is also demonstrating its Special Mission Aircraft capabilities, with a specific focus on the MC-27J Multi-Mission Aircraft. The aircraft utilizes ATK's multi-mission palletized Roll-On/Roll-Off weapon system, which is self-contained, modular and scalable. This system integrates enhanced electro-optical/infrared targeting sensors, a trainable 30mm cannon, precision-guided munitions, advanced communications, and a networked mission management and fire control system.
ATK is showing its Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM). AARGM is a supersonic, medium-range, air-launched tactical missile that provides improved capability to perform Destruction of Enemy Air Defense missions. AARGM is compatible with U.S. and allied strike aircraft, including all variants of the F/A-18, Tornado, EA-18G, F-16, EA-6B, and F-35 (external).
