General Dynamics, Blue Bear Systems Research collaborate on remotely piloted air systems

LONDON, 12 Sept. 2013. General Dynamics UK, an integrator of airborne tactical systems, and Blue Bear Systems Research Limited, maker of algorithms for autonomous vehicle operations, are developing flight control systems for remotely piloted air systems (RPAS).
General Dynamics UK, with experience integrating airborne mission/tactical systems, has developed a family of Compact Modular Computers (CMC). One CMC variant is a safety-critical processing platform for hosting autonomy algorithms, such as those provided by Blue Bear Systems Research, that command the flight control systems of RPAS.
