Mercury Systems gains $3.4 million order for high-performance digital signal processing modules for synthetic aperture radar application

CHELMSFORD, Mass., 24 Oct. 2013. Mercury Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:MRCY), a provider of commercially developed, open sensor and Big Data processing systems for critical commercial, defense, and intelligence applications, has received a $3.4 million follow-on order from a defense prime contractor for high-performance digital signal processing (DSP) modules for an unmanned airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) application.

CHELMSFORD, Mass., 24 Oct. 2013. Mercury Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:MRCY), a provider of commercially developed, open sensor and Big Data processing systems for critical commercial, defense, and intelligence applications, has received a $3.4 million follow-on order from a defense prime contractor for high-performance digital signal processing (DSP) modules for an unmanned airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) application.

The order is expected to be shipped over the next 12 months.
"Our long-standing relationship with this defense contractor and our advanced signal processing systems have played a pivotal role in supporting SAR programs that deliver high resolution actionable data," explains Didier Thibaud, president of Mercury’s Commercial Electronics business unit.
