Curtiss-Wright provides MRO support for Aerolineas Argentinas Boeing 737 Next Generation fleet

TEMPE, Ariz., 27 June 2014. Aerolineas Argentinas officials needed maintenance, repair and overhaul support to keep the airline’s Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) fleet performing. They found their solution at Curtiss-Wright Corp.’s (NYSE:CW) Sensors & Controls division, issuing a six-year contract.

TEMPE, Ariz., 27 June 2014. Aerolineas Argentinas officials needed maintenance, repair and overhaul support to keep the airline’s Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) fleet performing. They found their solution at Curtiss-Wright Corp.’s (NYSE:CW) Sensors & Controls division, issuing a six-year contract.

Curtiss-Wright will provide product support for multiple components used on Aerolineas Argentinas’ Boeing 737NG commercial airliners.

Under the agreement, Curtiss-Wright will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) support for components manufactured by Curtiss-Wright for Boeing aircraft, as well as additional products manufactured by other suppliers.

The estimated potential lifetime value of the contract is approximately $1.5 million. The support services provided under the agreement, which commenced in 2013, are scheduled to run through the end of 2019.

The Sensors & Controls division will provide the MRO services covered under the agreement at its Actuation Systems business unit’s product support facility located in Gastonia, N.C. The serviced products will be shipped to Aerolineas Argentinas in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
