FARNBOROUGH, England, 2 Sept. 2014. Dassault Systèmes officials intend to acquire Quintiq. By combining Dassault Systèmes' 3D software solutions with Quintiq’s full scope of business operations planning solution, they will enable businesses to imagine innovation in a 3D world, design and plan operations, schedule and produce products, and deliver with yet unimaginable outcomes.

Quintiq CEO Victor Allis describes:

Today is an exciting day for Quintiq, our customers, and the Global supply chain community. I am pleased to announce that today Dassault Systèmes has agreed to acquire Quintiq and all of its global assets and affiliates. We are excited to join forces with the #9 software company in the world, and most importantly, we believe that together we can add new value to you.

Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, is a world leader in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The company's vision is to provide businesses with a virtual universe to imagine new innovations. Together we will be the world leader in business operations planning that delivers a new customer experience and yet unimaginable business outcomes.

Quintiq offers a unique and differentiating platform that will underpin the overall DS vision. As a result, Quintiq will continue to invest in R&D as always, while ensuring that it is available not only in today's form, but also through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform of DS, both on premise and in the cloud. Also, as Apriso is part of DS, we will soon be able to provide an integrated SCP&O - MES experience.

As we complete this process we will do so with one guiding principle: to provide the best service and solutions to our customers. With that in mind this transition will be seamless to you. Our leadership team, your sales rep., your delivery or support team, the numbers you call to reach us, etc. - all will remain the same. We expect to operate as we have successfully for the last 17 years for the foreseeable future. In September, we expect to join the DS DELMIA brand as DELMIA Quintiq.

In the future, as part of the DS portfolio, we will expand our global footprint and share ideas as we seek opportunities to deliver new value to our mutual customers. To that end, there are many opportunities in the coming weeks and months to learn more.
