Operators will be able to choose from different content packages including the latest available content from all major Hollywood studios and global TV networks, officials say.

The Thales Wireless IFE solution will work on embedded displays throughout the aircraft cabin as well as on passenger personal electronic devices (PEDs). The system bundles together the hardware supplied by Gulfstream with the end-to-end solution supplied by Thales, as well as includes network application content and related services.

The Thales Wireless IFE offers flexibility to passengers and operators because it is a scalable solution adapted to different applications. Passengers can stream content to any device and utilize Google Android functions to access TV and movies updated periodically, with full support of the Thales content management team.
