Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to host NextGen 101

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., 9 Jan. 2015. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will be presenting a two-day NextGen 101 workshop, on the U.S. air traffic control/management (ATC/ATM) system, in Washington, D.C., 23-24 June 2105.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., 9 Jan. 2015.Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will be presenting a two-day NextGen 101 workshop, on the U.S. air traffic control/management (ATC/ATM) system, in Washington, D.C., 23-24 June 2105.

Open to all industry professionals, the workshop will provide an overview of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s) Next Generation (NextGen) Air Transportation System initiative to modernize the nation’s air transportation system. Presenters will cover NextGen concepts, attributes, and challenges, as well as technical aspects, business considerations, and impact on the international community.

The course will be offered at the Holiday Inn Capitol, 550 C St. SW, Washington, D.C. The course fee is $750, and group pricing is available. Continuing education units are also available.
