Intertek gains accreditation for Colombian jet fuel laboratory

BOGOTÁ, Colombia, 13 Jan. 2015. National Accreditation Organization of Colombia (ONAC, Organismo Nacional de Acreditación de Colombia) officials awarded Intertek ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation for a state-of-the-art jet fuel laboratory in Bogotá.

Intertek is the first independent laboratory to be awarded ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation in the oil and gas sector in Colombia. Jet fuel is tested by Intertek worldwide to check for quality and compliance to industry specifications.

According to officials, jet fuel laboratory ISO / IEC 17025:2005 accreditation provides Intertek clients in Colombia with:
