PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., 8 April 2015. Wencor Group has acquired PHS/MWA Aviation Services (PHS), a certifiedFAA/EASA Repair Station and provider of aircraft repair solutions in cargo and interior systems, hydraulics, and power and controls.
PHS was acquired to enhance Wencor Group’s Soundair Aviation Services affiliate, expanding its international market presence and breadth repair capabilities, and strengthen the company’s position as a worldwide leader of aftermarket solutions, according to Wencor Group Chief Executive Officer Greg Beason. “We continue to identify opportunities to partner with leading aftermarket part and service providers as part of our growth strategy."
Greg Harwood, current President of Soundair Aviation Services, will lead the new company alignment with the support of Bryan Bale and Craig Bale.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
PHS is a global supplier of aircraft component repairs with almost 50 years of experience across multiple aircraft platforms. Repair specialties include: Cargo Systems, Galley Inserts, Waste & Water Systems, Hydraulics, Doors & Linkage, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, and Fuel Accessories. PHS is currently operating six internal repair shops with state-of-the-art testing facilities and offers onsite engineering support.
