Northrop Grumman-led industry team to support Next Generation Air Transportation System

MCLEAN, Va., 29 Oct. 2015. Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE:NOC) won an $81 million contract from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support the Aeronautical Information Management Modernization (AIMM) program.

MCLEAN, Va., 29 Oct. 2015. Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE:NOC) won an $81 million contract from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to support the Aeronautical Information Management Modernization (AIMM) program.

Under this contract, Northrop Grumman will support the FAA safety mission and Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) objectives: developing automation and information systems/services to address future air traffic requirements. This program will also provide aviation users with digital Aeronautical Information (AI) that conforms to international standards.

The Northrop Grumman team includes Crown Consulting Inc., Enterprise Engineering Services, Rigil Corp., and Sunhillo Corp.
