SHANGHAI, China, 13 April 2016. Zetta Jet, the first business jet (bizjet) provider in Asia to offer high-speed connectivity across its fleet of aircraft, has selected Rockwell Collins’ ARINCDirect to provide Viasat Yonder over KU band and Inmarsat Jet ConneX (JX) over KA band.
“Our goal is to create unique guest experiences and provide only the absolute best in service and amenities that the world has to offer,” says Geoffrey Cassidy, managing director of Zetta Jet. “Rockwell Collins is enabling us to accomplish that goal by providing our passengers with faster and more reliable in-flight internet service. And, being able to get flight planning, flight operations scheduling, and cabin connectivity all from one company is a tremendous value to Zetta Jet.”
“Business jet passengers are demanding the same type of connectivity they experience on the ground as they do in-flight,” explains Saira Kanchwala, business development director, Asia Pacific Division for Rockwell Collins. “With higher levels of bandwidth, Rockwell Collins will enable leading providers like Zetta Jet with technology enablement applications and services to meet their passengers’ expectations.”
The new contract expands Zetta Jet’s relationship with Rockwell Collins, which is currently using a number of ARINCDirect’s integrated services.
Zetta Jet boasts six strategically positioned offices worldwide, and a growing fleet of technologically advanced aircraft in the private aviation industry.
ARINC Direct provides business aviation solutions, including flight planning, weather, communications, high-speed data, international trip planning, and more.
Headquartered in Singapore, Zetta Jet is a FAA certified air carrier with its Scheduling and Operations Centre (SOC) in Los Angeles, and leverages an established network of sales and support offices in New York, London, San José, Harbin, and Singapore.
Rockwell Collins develops and deploys aviation and high-integrity solutions for commercial and government applications, including flight deck avionics, cabin electronics, mission communications, simulation and training, and information management.
