NEW ORLEANS, 21 April 2016.GCR Inc., a New Orleans-based technology and professional services company, has added Qognify's Situator to its AirportIQ operations, safety, and revenue management platform. The addition of Qognify's Situational Awareness functionality into AirportIQ expands aviation customers’ ability to process, evaluate, and analyze real-time data that conforms to the unique needs of airports.

By deploying the AirportIQ platform with Situator, airport operators gain a modular, scalable solution that can be leveraged across the entire organization. Financial, operational, safety, and security data can be efficiently managed from a single platform. Airport managers can glean valuable insight about airport performance, identify positive and negative trends, and give employees the tools they need to perform their tasks.

"The addition of Situator greatly enhances our AirportIQ solution by adding real-time event management to the platform. The new capabilities will reduce cost and optimize revenue through efficiencies in operations and enhance customer service when events occur," Dan Cox, GCR's CEO, emphasizes.

"The joint solution will benefit security programs deployed at airports and help operations run smoothly to avoid downtime and facilitate cost savings," says Qognify President Moti Shabtai.

For over 30 years, GCR has brought technological innovation to the aviation industry through its AirportIQ software that is used in over 65 airports worldwide, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, JFK, and LAX, officials describe.

Qognify helps organizations mitigate risk, maintain business continuity, and optimize operations. The Qognify portfolio includes video management, video and data analytics, and PSIM/ Situation Management solutions that are deployed in financial institutions, transportation agencies, airports, seaports, utility companies, city centers, and to secure many of the world's highest-profile public events.
