The French Aerospace industry association GIFAS is hosting more than 45 French companies presenting their know-how in the French Pavilion at the Farnborough International Airshow, running 11–17 July 2016. The exhibitors include prime contractors, equipment manufacturers and SMEs, engineering companies, and maintenance specialists.
This strong showing by France’s industry at one of this year’s most important trade shows is a high point in with our sector-wide export drive, when French manufacturers will have a major opportunity to meet their international counterparts.

French aerospace and defense manufacturers – the majority of which are members of GIFAS, the organizer of the Paris Air Show – generate revenues of more than 58 billion euros (83% in exports) and are keen to invest in fast-expanding markets.
GIFAS, with its 369 members, represents the entire French aerospace industry. It is regularly approached at major international events, and as such is the best vehicle for showcasing the country’s industrial and technological expertise to key international decision-makers.
