Continuous development of test and AME solutions enhances warfighter readiness

What are you excited to see at Paris Air Show?

The Marvin Group is excited to see all the aircraft and operators that we are assisting in delivering increased capabilities through our leading-edge armament and test solutions. We look forward to meeting with our current and prospective customers and displaying our latest technologies and products. In addition, we also look forward to learning more about the latest innovations in aerospace and defense technology.

What are you excited to bring to or share at the show?

Marvin Test Solutions is showcasing our flight-line, intermediate, and depot-level armament maintenance test and support equipment, including our production-proven MTS-235 test set being used to qualify Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Alternate Mission Equipment (AME). The Marvin Engineering Company serves as the managing partner to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for the production of F-35, including launchers, pylons, and adaptors, and have a sampling of them on display. We are also presenting our ability to provide a robust sustainment package for armament with a new, flexible, and deployable capability.

What will your technology focus be at the show and immediately following it?

Our focus at the show will be on providing our warfighting customers with the advanced maintenance and sustainment capabilities for armament systems that are deployed on both 4th and 5th generation aircraft. Many of our current and future customers are looking for advanced armament test and repair solutions using common equipment for O, I, and D-level applications. Test systems such as our MTS-3060 SmartCan, MTS-209 Common Armament Test Set, and MTS-235 F-35 Test Set, combined with AME repair capability offer unrivaled support for both generations of aircraft.

Are you going into the show looking for feedback or info that will influence your product offerings or direction?

Absolutely! The most intriguing and valuable part of the Paris Air Show is the chance to meet with customers and explore the challenges they are facing and how we can better assist them achieving success. Face-to-face engagement is instrumental to our primary goal of supporting the warfighter through continuous development of test and AME solutions that enhance their warfighting readiness.

What’s the hottest trend you’re seeing? Any leading-edge technology or segment to watch?

Precision-guided weapons continue to advance in types, numbers, and range of sizes. Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) of all sizes are rapidly finding ways to integrate these more advanced and miniaturized weapons. The Marvin Group is closely observing these trends and exploring solutions based on our expertise and experience to further enable the capabilities and mission parameters that these developments bring to the warfighter.

What does the rest of the year hold for you/the company? Any particular focus?

We continue to focus on proactive customer engagement and closer collaboration with our industry-leading partners. Along with our unwavering support, both pre- and post-sale, we believe this is the most effective path to improving our understanding of our customers’ requirements and allows us to more effectively exceed their expectations.
