MIAMI, Fla. -- The MEKCO Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Chinese in-flight entertainment and connectivity technology (IFEC) manufacturer Donica Inc. as dealer and service provider.
The partnership, announced last week, allows MEKCO to provide repairs, installations and distribution of Donica's digital media reproducers, pre-recorded announcement modulators and quick-access cockpit voice recorders.
"This agreement is a crucial step forward for our team," said Bill Utset, President and CEO of the MEKCO Group. "It allows us to simply insert new equipment without a costly aircraft modification for our customers. We always try and provide our customers affordable, scalable, and up-to-date products which they will enjoy, and provide low-cost carriers some leveling with major airlines."
