Boeing exhibiting vision for the future at Farnborough

CHICAGO -- Boeing has announced its slate of displays at the upcoming Farnborough International Airshow, with exhibits and displays including its commercial, defense, space and autonomous portfolio of products.

"Boeing is leading the drive to innovate and win with the clear vision that the future is built here," chairman, president and CEO Dennis Muilenburg said. "We come to Farnborough building on the foundation of an exceptionally consistent and strong year, and do so on the first anniversary of our services business."

Boeing will showcase a 737 MAX 7 in flying displays taking place July 16-19

Other commercial Boeing craft to be present include a Biman Bangladesh 787-8, Air Italy 737 MAX 8, Qatar Airways 777-300ER, Royal Air Maroc 767, and CargoLogicAir and Qatar Airways 747-8 freighters.

The U.S. Department of Defense is also scheduled to display several Boeing craft, including an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift helicopter, F-15E Strike Eagle and C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft.

Boeing's exhibit will also offering a large 360-degree theater, and virtual and mixed reality exhibits highlighting its most recent innovations.

"We are excited to highlight these future technologies as well as our core product offerings with a unique new exhibit that will be open throughout the show," Muilenburg said.

Boeing's exhibit will be located opposite Hall 1.
