Greene Tweed showcasing line of sealing products at Farnborough

KULPSVILLE, Pa. -- Seals and components manufacturer Greene Tweed is taking to the Farnborough International Airshow with a portfolio showcasing its most recent developments.

KULPSVILLE, Pa. -- Seals and components manufacturer Greene Tweed is taking to the Farnborough International Airshow with a portfolio showcasing its most recent developments.

On display will be Greene Tweed's:

  • Fusion FKM 664, a chemical-resistant elastomer with tolerances ranging from -57°C to 232°C (-70°F to 450°F). The product meets Aerospace Material Specification (MAS) 7379;
  • Xycomp DLF, a lightweight, high-performance thermoplastic composite developed to replace complex metal components;
  • Chemraz 676, a high-temperature, chemical-resistant FFKM elastomer material specifically designed to exceed AMS 7257E requirements; and
  • Fireproof hydraulic seals, designed for high- and low-pressure sealing in static applications, for fireproof-rated equipment.

The Pennsylvania-based business has had a large presence in the aerospace sector for more than five decades, with its components found in more than 90 percent of the world's commercial and military aircraft, according to the company.

Greene Tweed's exhibit will be located in Hall 4, Booth No. 4165.
