The Intelligent Aerospace take:
November 26, 2018 -- The halcyon days of nearly two decades ago are back, albiet in a very limited way, at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. With just 50 passengers per day gaining admittance to the secured area, is impact on security wait times should be relatively miniscule, and it will allow people additional time with their loved ones prior to taking to the skies. Since the visitors will undergo the same security screening regular commerical passengers do, the risks to safety will likely be no greater than any ticket holder.
