Space DC-DC converters SVHF285R2S and SVHF285R7S SMDs released by VPT

BLACKSBURG, Va., - VPT’s SVHF Series of space grade DC-DC converters now has two more output voltages that are DLA Qualified. SVHF285R2S (5.2V) and SVHF285R7S (5.7V) were recently added to and released on DLA SMD 5962-11218. The SVHF series’ single 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and 2.5V output models were previously added to this SMD.

SVHF285R2S (5.2V) and SVHF285R7S (5.7V) were recently added to and released on DLA SMD 5962-11218. The SVHF series’ single 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and 2.5V output models were previously added to this SMD.

VPT’s SV Series of DC-DC converters are mission proven in systems launching for LEO, MEO, GEO, and deep space missions. Qualified to MIL-PRF-38534 Class K on DLA SMDs, these off-the-shelf units help you get your system off the ground fast. The rad-hardended converter has a fault tolerant design with radiation immune magnetic isolation technology – no optoisolators. The line has a low profile (.330 inches) and light weight (24/28g) fully hermetic packaging. It can operate in a wide range of temperatures from -55°C to +125°C with full performance over temperature range, and has flanged and non-flanged case styles available.
