June 6, 2019-China's launch from. a platform in the Yellow Sea off the coast of Shandong went off as planned as the Asian power joined the United States and Russia as the third nation to successfully put a rocket into space from the sea. Included in the payload were two technology experiments and five smaller commercial satellites. The state-owned Chinese news agency CCTV put up a video of the launch on its YouTube page (see below).
