NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., - Combat Proven Technologies (CP Tech) launched their MTP-24 Rugged Portable Mil-Grade Lunchbox Computer at the Air, Space and Cyber Conference, hosted last month by the Air Force Association.

The Rugged Portable Mil-Grade Computer combines rugged design with three 24 inch (1920×1200) HI-Bright LCDs with 900 cd/m2 brightness. The system is highly configurable and customizable to a customer’s specific needs. It includes support for Intel Core and Xeon CPUs.

“Our new MTP Family of ruggedized “Lunchbox” portable computers are highly configurable and extremely durable and reliable, built to MIL-STD 810G specifications,” said Mike McCormack, CEO and President of CP Tech. “With over 20 years of experience developing and building ruggedized computer and display systems, we are the number one choice for many military, avionic and industrial applications.”

CP Technologies has identified a gap in the mobile computing market for users who require more configuration but can still be easily transported to military operational and heavy industrial environments. The availability of highly configurable and capable systems that can be moved by a two person lift and rapidly set up for tactical or field use. Operators embrace the functionality and user-interface options availed by incorporating new technologies which offer the flexibility and power of high-end workstation computing never before available in a mobile platform. The addition of multiple touch screen interfaces, dual-factor authentication, active and passive cooling options, and power filtering options to run off a wide range of power inputs including global AC and DC power have put CP Technologies’ MTP-24 at the forefront of high performance mobile computing.

The chassis is made from lightweight aluminum, allowing portability and rugged construction to allow use for military and heavy industrial use. The system can be used as a Ground Control Station to fly UAVs, Surveillance System, Forensics, Disaster Management and a host of other applications where powerful processing is required with a high degree of display configurability.
