"It's known as a fifth-generation multi-role aircraft with stealth capability. But with a top speed of 1,200 miles an hour, an operational ceiling of 50,000 feet and the ability to land vertically onto the deck of an aircraft carrier, to put it more simply, this is the most sophisticated fighter jet world has ever seen."

The British motoring show Top Gear gave us all a few minutes of escape in a weary world when it released the segment wherein a powerful supercar locks horns with a jet that has a top speed nearly 1,000 miles per hour higher than the McLaren. The Royal Air Force pilot pulled 7Gs as it followed the same triangular course. No spoilers, but I will say it is a lot of fun to watch!
