OTEK Corporation unveils new Signal Panel Meter for shipboard/avionics
TUCSON, Ariz., - OTEK Corporation introduces another addition to its Plug & Play DPM series in the versatile yet simply designed, Signal Panel Meter, or SPM. Housed in an industry standard 1/8th DIN casing and available in either plastic or metal (for use in EMI/RFI, Mil-Std. 461 & Class 1E applications), the SPM incorporates “pure white” LED technology to offer an illuminated 4 ½ 0.6” digit display, which may be customized to virtually any color simply by changing the scale plate filter. This universal display is designed to be highly customizable to a variety of consumer applications, while offering a reading that’s clear and quickly decipherable by the operator.
The SPM can be powered by its signal via 4-20mADC, V/mADC, or AC Volts, Amps, Watts, and Hertz, or externally powered with options of Non-Isolated 5VDC, Isolated 5-48VDC or 90-265VAC 50/60Hz respectively. Highlight features of the SPM include ±0.1% accuracy, serial communications of RS232, RS485, and USB, up to four relays/O.C.T. and 4-20mA outputs, NEMA 4x displays, as well as customizable scale plates/calibration ranges.
In addition to the standard 4 ½ digit display, the SPM is also available in 4 and 3 ½ digit displays at 0.8 inches. As with all OTEK products, the SPM carries a lifetime warranty.
