PARIS - Honeywell in Phoenix and Vietjet Air in Hanoi, Vietnam, have signed a five-year agreement for the maintenance of Honeywell’s 331-350 auxiliary power units (APUs) used on Vietjet’s Airbus A330 aircraft, the companies announced. The agreement covers 30 widebody aircraft and expands Honeywell’s existing support for Vietjet’s growing A330 fleet.

"Honeywell is proud to support Vietjet’s continued growth with reliable, high-performance APU solutions," said Dave Marinick, president of Engines and Power Systems at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies. "Our agreement reflects a shared commitment to both operational excellence and long-term success."

Honeywell’s 331-350 APU is specifically designed for the Airbus A330 and is part of the proven 331 family, which has logged more than 100 million hours of operation. The 331-350 offers high reliability, reduced maintenance costs, and improved fuel efficiency compared to earlier-generation units. It provides pneumatic and electrical power for aircraft systems, including engine starting, air conditioning, and cabin pressurization, particularly while the aircraft is on the ground.
