Mr. Benton has new product development experience spanning more than 34 years in industries ranging from electronic materials, electronic connectors and interconnect systems, and most recently optoelectronic transceivers and video subsystems. He is now the Engineering Manager and a Product Manager for Active Fiber Optic Products in the Rugged Fiber Optics Business Unit.
Mr. Benton holds a Masters and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a B.S. in General Engineering from the University of Illinois.
