JetBlue adopts Collins Aerospace predictive analytics to improve flight operations

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is supplying JetBlue with FlightAware Foresight technology, a predictive analytics tool that uses real-time flight tracking and machine learning to help airlines minimize delays, optimize schedules, and keep passengers better informed.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Collins Aerospace, an RTX business in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is now providing JetBlue with FlightAware Foresight technology, a predictive analytics tool designed to improve airline operations through greater visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.

The tool leverages real-time flight tracking and predictive analytics to alert airlines to delays caused by weather, congestion, or other disruptions. With this information, Collins says operators can make quick adjustments to gates, crews, and schedules to improve on-time performance, preserve passenger connections, and provide proactive updates on flight changes.

The technology uses machine learning and billions of data points to identify potential delays early. This allows airlines to maintain operational efficiency while improving the passenger journey.

JetBlue began integrating FlightAware Foresight across its system-wide operations in July.
