Rugged connectors offer quick-release locking for 360-degree mating; membrane-sealed contacts; and low-profile design and ergonomics.

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Fischer Connectors US in Alpharetta, Ga., is introducing nine connector products to the company's Fischer Freedom series for small size, weight and power (SWaP) requirements, cable management optimization, electronic network integration, and wearable technology.

The features, configurations, materials and active devices, commercially available as of September 2019, use the modular connectivity technology of the Fischer LP360 connector.

These rugged connectors offer no key code and non-magnetic quick-release locking for easy 360-degree mating; membrane-sealed contacts for easy cleaning; and easy integration thanks to low-profile design and ergonomics.

Fischer Freedom enables design engineers to integrate more technology and functionality into fixed or wearable electronics ecosystems and cable-free devices in applications such as: defense and security, medical, instrumentation, industrial and civil engineering, robotics, wearables, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

The USB 2.0 adaptor, LED and flash drive have the Fischer LP360 panel plug into their housing. This opens up development pathways for innovative active solutions integrated into electronic networks where power source and communications are centralized within shared data and power buses and hubs.

As for the cabled receptacle in metal with 7 signal and power contacts, it is a ready-touse solution that also maximizes the usability, operability and functionality of robotic systems or smart vests 1/3 into which it can easily be integrated.
