Connectors operate in temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius; are RoHS compliant; have a 1.5-amp current rating at 25 C; and right-angle design.

GLEN ROCK, Pa. – The Bel Fuse Inc. Stewart Connector segment in Glen Rock, Pa., is introducing the RJ45 press-fit connectors to eliminate soldering in the assembly process to improve reliability of the connector during the product’s life cycle.

By removing soldering during assembly, Stewart’s press-fit connectors can eliminate the chances of cold solder joints and solder flux contamination.

Stewart’s RJ45 press-fit connectors can achieve 1-gigabit through 2.5-gigabit Base-T Ethernet speeds.

The connectors operate in temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius; have a 1.5-amp current rating at 25 C; shielding; right-angle design; several LED and port configurations; 50 micro inches of gold plating; and are RoHS compliant.

Applications for these high-reliability connectors include networking equipment; home and office equipment; security systems; video game systems; IoT applications; portable storage devices; printers; and scanners.
