GLEN ROCK, Pa. – The Bel Fuse Inc. Stewart Connector segment in Glen Rock, Pa., is introducing the M12 X-Code field terminatable plug for environments that need rugged connectors to power and communicate with equipment in manufacturing environments.
The industry-standard M12 X-Code design features eight positions to enable Ethernet communications and data transmission. It is designed to support 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet and 10GBase-T10 Gigabit Ethernet transfer rates.
The M12 X-Code field terminatable plug is IP67 rated when mated, and comes in an IDC termination style to provide termination without the need of specialty tooling.
The IDC type termination on these connectors provides quick and efficient termination without the need to strip wire insulation and can terminate to solid and stranded cable. The M12 X-Code accepts a cable diameter of 0.267 inches to 0.354 inches, and accommodates 24 and 26 AWG wire.
